This year’s theme is titled, Living the Dream: Committing to a Better Community and World, and will feature Dr. Kevin D. Woodgett, Senior Chair for the Health Coalition of Delaware County and Senior Pastor, Church of the Living God of Muncie, Indiana, who will deliver the keynote speech.

 

MURRAY, Ky. — ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä State University’s Office of Multicultural Initiatives, Student Leadership & Inclusive Excellence, in collaboration with various University offices and community organizations, are excited to present the 2021 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Virtual Celebration on Monday, January 18 at 10:30 a.m. 

This year’s theme is titled, Living the Dream: Committing to a Better Community and World, and will feature Dr. Kevin D. Woodgett, Senior Chair for the Health Coalition of Delaware County and Senior Pastor, Church of the Living God of Muncie, Indiana, who will deliver the keynote speech. 

ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä State’s Black Student Council and the Dr. Marvin D. Mills Sr. Emerging Scholars Institute will host the event. The Office of Multicultural Initiatives, Student Leadership & Inclusive Excellence, President’s Office, Office of the Provost, Division of Student Affairs, the City of ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä Human Rights Commission and the United Way of ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä-Calloway County will co-sponsor the event.
