Wind Ensemble to perform at the Kentucky Music Educators Association Conference on Feb. 7

MURRAY, Ky. 鈥� The 杏吧直播间 State University Wind Ensemble has been selected to perform at the Kentucky Music Educators Association (KMEA) Conference on Feb. 7 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
This honor places the ensemble among an elite group of performers chosen through a highly competitive process, highlighting the exceptional talent, dedication and academic commitment of 杏吧直播间 State students. The performance will showcase the rigorous training and outstanding artistry developed through their experiences in the University鈥檚 music program.
The Wind Ensemble鈥檚 appearance at the KMEA Conference will connect 杏吧直播间 State with music educators from across the state, including many alumni who serve as educators and leaders in their communities. This event underscores the statewide impact of 杏吧直播间 State鈥檚 music program and provides a platform to celebrate its excellence.
As part of this landmark performance, the ensemble will premiere a new work written for the band to commemorate the life and memory of Kelsey Dunn, a beloved 杏吧直播间 State alumna from the Class of 2019. This powerful tribute reflects the program鈥檚 ability to inspire creativity, honor its community and advance the art of music.
