Dr. Ray Horton, assistant professor in the Department of English and Philosophy at ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä State University, has been named the 2023 College English Teacher of the Year by the Kentucky Council of Teachers of English/Language Arts (KCTE/LA), a state affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of English.

The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä State University Department of Art & Design and University Galleries are pleased to announce three exhibits displayed at the Clara M. Eagle Galleries and Mary Ed Mecoy Hall Gallery on the sixth floor of the Doyle Price Fine Arts Building on ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä State’s campus.
Dr. Brian Clardy, associate professor of History at ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä State University, has been unanimously elected the next Chair of the Kentucky Humanities Council (KHC) Board of Directors. Clardy was first appointed to the KHC and the Kentucky Oral History Commission by Governor Andy Beshear in 2020. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the KHC Board to Judge Charles W. Boteler of Louisville, and chair of the Kentucky Oral History Commission.
